Carlsbad Children's Cake Smash Photography

I loved having sweet little Stella at the studio for her Luxe Cake Smash.  She did a great job, and look at her adorable outfits that mom brought!  I do provide some wardrobe for sessions, but parents can bring custom items as well.  We styled her session together, and it came out beautifully!  I adore cake smash sessions... one is such a huge milestone. Happy Birthday little miss!

Loved working with sweet little Rowan for his Where the Wild Things Are themed cake smash.  I photographed his newborn portraits, and I just love seeing those babies come back for their milestone sessions.

Where the Wild Things Are Cake Smash - San Diego Photography

I was just delighted when Lucy's mom asked me to create a Where the Wild Things Are themed cake smash! Its so fun for me to take an idea and turn it into a beautiful little set. The challenge was to take a book about a little boy named Max, and make the theme feminine and soft. It was so fun to put together! I created the pennant banner, as well as her little Max crown and all of the surrounding decor.  Cakes with basic decorations are included in all of my cake smash sessions.  Just darling!

The family is also from Hawaii, so they wanted one of the sets to include some Hawaiian theme. Her floral crown, as well as a lei of plumeria were pretty little touches!

Del Mar Cake Smash Portraits in the Studio

Look at this little cutie!  Loved working with Ace for his one year portraits in the studio.  We did a basic set, as well as his cake smash set!  Mom wanted bright colors, teals and blues.  I loved using this bold backdrop for the cake smash - so cute!  Mom and dad brought their own cake, and we had a blast making a mess.  I love cake smash sessions!

Little Sophia did a great job for her one year Luxe Session.  When you book a Luxe Session with me for your one year old, I do have wardrobe options available to you!  The white and navy jumpers shown below are in the studio and available for your use, as well as a selection of tutus in different colors.  Happy First Birthday little one!  Sessions take place at my photography studio in Carlsbad CA.

First Birthday and Cake Smash Session

One of my favorite parts of what I do is seeing babies grow! I photographed Paxton in his first week of life... and he's back at age one! SO adorable! We did an outdoor family session for him, as well as going back into the studio for some cute portraits and a CAKE SMASH! Loved his session... so cute!

Sweet little girl - First Birthday Portraits and Cake Smash

I cannot believe this little darling is turning ONE next month!  We did a few family portraits at a nearby park, and then headed into the studio for her first birthday "cake smash".  More pictures coming soon, but just a few shares for now.  So excited to be capturing her birthday party celebration as well.  Thank you for having me capture her first year!

What can be better than an amazing cake and a cute little toddler!  Perfect combination today at the studio for little Nellie's cake smash session.  We did some cute portraits, and then set out the cake and let her go for it.
