Loved this little darling girl... and her parents were super sweet. Giants fans of course, so we had to do a few fun family shots... little Aubrey had on her PINK Giant's onesie. Love it! Ok... feeling sort of bad.. can you tell which image I took, seconds after I grabbed her paci out of her mouth? I'm so MEAN... so cute though!!! :)

Just look at this sweet little guy! He was 4 lbs. (can't remember how many oz.) and born only two weeks early. He was so itty bitty, with a full head of gorgeous red hair. He was SO cute, and I really loved this session. Every day, I'm just so thankful for what I do. I love all of these sweet little babies!
El Dorado Hills Newborn Baby Photography – Sophia – 3 Weeks
I had such a nice time today with this lovely family. Little Sophia did a great job, and slept for a solid half hour during our session. She modeled my new favorite home made orange flower headband. I love orange for babies... Anyways, I am sharing a few family photos as well as photos of the gift that dad gave to mom and Sophia in the hospital. He found this gorgeous custom box and matching pearl bracelets for the two of them on etsy. The box has her stats and information written on the inside... it was SO pretty! I love it! This little guy was so itty bitty and CUTE! I loved our session today and I was able to use some new backgrounds and fabrics. I'm finally getting a few boys lately, after my solid run of baby girls. It was a great session and he did so well... although I think that he is now going to be addicted to his paci. Mom gave it to him during the session for the first time, and every time I tried to take it out, he wasn't happy with me. It was great to meet you mama, and sweet little Jackson also!

What a sweet little guy! I have been photographing a ton of little girls lately, and I finally had a little baby boy this last week! I took mom and dad's maternity photos a few months ago, and little Mason finally arrived. He looks just like his daddy! He slept like a champ. Auburn Newborn Baby Photography – Madison – 3.5 Weeks
I trekked out to Auburn this afternoon for this session. I typically encourage parents to schedule their newborn session in the first two weeks of baby's life, preferably around the 5-10 day mark, so that we can get those sleepy baby, curl up in a ball shots. This session though, was an example of an older baby and still getting great images! I have had a few "older" newborns the past few weeks. And they have all done a great job! She was a little sweetie, and we did get a few short periods of sleep out of her. On my way back down the mountain, it was snowing! It is now Spring in the Sacramento area, and this weather has been so strange. I cannot believe it is still raining this much, and snowing in Auburn in mid-March! Crazy! I wish I had stopped and taken a few photos on my way out. The snow had been falling for a short time and was lightly blanketing everything. It was just gorgeous!

Newborn Photography Sacramento – Jacob – 6 Days
I have been working with a ton of baby girls lately - which I absolutely love. I finally had a little BOY this week to work with! He was so cute and perfect! Mom and dad were unsure of how things would go because he was fussy just before I arrived. Rest assured weary moms and dads, I come bearing a little white noise. He was passed out for most of the shoot. We were able to get some great sleeping shots, which he fully cooperated for. I had a great time, and as I always say, I absolutely love my job. Its great, meeting new parents who are so excited about the new little people in their lives, and great getting that "baby fix" with all of these cute little bundles.
